Description
Unlike cosmetic products and moisturisers, Stratamark is a medical device with proven therapeutic action for the prevention and treatment of stretch marks. Stratamark is a unique gel formula specially designed for the prevention and treatment of all types of stretch marks.
During drying, Stratamark forms a thin, flexible and protective gel layer that is gas-permeable and waterproof. Stratamark is transparent and fragrance-free. It does not contain alcohol, fragrances or parabens. It does not penetrate below the stratum corneum (outer skin layer). Suitable for pregnant women, nursing mothers, children and people with sensitive skin.

Stratamark is semi-occlusive and gas-permeable, allowing the skin to breathe and stay hydrated. The gel is hydrophobic, preventing water loss from the dermal layers. It helps reduce trans-epithelial water loss and thereby increases stretch mark hydration.
Stratamark forms a durable, flexible and waterproof layer. It does not penetrate the epidermis or dermis. It protects stretch marks from local irritants, including clothing friction. This helps normalise collagen production levels.
Stratamark influences the epidermal-dermal signalling cascade through the regulatory role of the epidermis in fibroblast production. Keratinocytes have been shown to activate fibroblasts, collagen and glycosaminoglycan production. This leads to normalisation of keratinocyte hydration status and growth factors that signal dermal fibroblasts to normalise the collagen synthesis cycle in stretch marks.
Application instructions
Ensure the skin is clean and dry. Stratamark is applied with fingertips in a very thin layer to the appropriate areas. Spread evenly and allow the gel to dry.
Stratamark should be applied once daily or after each wash. For best results, Stratamark should be in continuous contact with the skin (24 h/day, 7 days/week).
If properly applied, Stratamark should dry within 3–4 minutes. If it takes longer, you have probably applied too much. Gently remove excess gel with a cloth or paper towel.
When dry, the area treated with Stratamark gel can be covered with clothing, sunscreen or cosmetics.
If Stratamark is used from the 13th week of pregnancy, approximately 3 tubes of 50 g will be needed for the entire treatment period, including 60–90 days after delivery, when applied to breasts, thighs and abdomen.
