Description
ALLEVYN Ag Non-Adhesive is an absorbent antimicrobial dressing consisting of three layers: an absorbent hydrocellular foam core containing silver sulfadiazine (SSD), located between a perforated non-adherent wound contact layer and an impermeable outer film.
The dressing is an effective barrier against microbial contamination, protecting the wound from invasive pathogenic microorganisms. Silver sulfadiazine is effective against microorganisms found in the dressing and wound. For exuding wounds, the dressing helps maintain a moist wound environment.
