Description
ALLEVYN Ag Gentle Border triple-layer advanced technology promotes dynamic exudate management to create a moist wound environment and reduce the risk of maceration.
An absorbent hydrocellular foam with silver sulfadiazine is located between a perforated self-adhesive silicone gel layer in contact with the wound and a waterproof outer layer. The dressing surface is covered with an adherent silicone layer ensuring painless removal during dressing changes.
The dressing acts as an effective barrier against microbial infection and protects the wound from invasive pathogens, promoting faster healing. Silver sulfadiazine effectively protects against microorganisms present in the dressing and wound.
